A Moroccan Blog
Language in Morocco is a load of Berber. No honestly its called Berber. I have no idea where I have heard of the Arabic dialect known as Berber before finding out its called Berber. I love to say it actually, Ber-Ber, bear bear, beer beer…. ok stop there.
There’s a few different dialects spoken in Morocco including Tarifit, Tashelhit, and Tamazight, but dont ask me yet to explain the differences… and also to contend with these are French as the next major language in Morocco and then Spanish and English… Its so embaressing at times that people who are exposed to foreign travel and travellers can handle languages so well and we all struggle with maintaining the correct form of spoken and written English never mind another tongue.
I will be educating you lot on the way to barter properly soon and will try and give a guide to prices so you avoid the rip off merchants!
